Memoir Log Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 12, 2026

Overview

Memoir Log is designed to help you revisit photos and videos already stored on your device. The app processes your gallery locally and does not operate a backend server for collecting your personal memories.

Information processed on your device

With your permission, Memoir Log reads photos, videos, dates, times, location metadata when available, favorite status, and basic media details needed to build Stories, Posts, Flow, and Profile views.

Comments, likes, and app settings are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to a Memoir Log server.

No Memoir Log server upload

Memoir Log does not upload your photos, videos, gallery metadata, comments, likes, or profile content to any server controlled by Memoir Log.

Sharing

If you choose to share a photo or video, the app uses your device's native sharing interface. The selected item is shared only through the app or service you choose.

Advertising

Memoir Log may display ads through Google AdMob. Ad requests are handled by Google, and Google may process data such as device identifiers, approximate location, ad interactions, diagnostics, and other information according to Google's advertising and privacy policies.

Memoir Log itself does not collect, sell, or store user information for advertising, and it does not receive your photos, videos, comments, or gallery contents through AdMob.

Permissions

Photo library access is used to display and organize your media inside the app. You can manage or revoke permissions through your device settings.

Children's privacy

Memoir Log is a personal gallery app and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because media stays on device, photos and videos of family moments are not sent to Memoir Log.
